GREAT DAY of SERVICE

JANUARY 14, 2012 is Trinity’s GREAT DAY OF SERVICE.
Let’s help our community with some “hands-on” help for the ministries we support.
Everyone is invited to participate in this special day.

In-house Projects:
- Health Kits - Contact Laura Eanes: 243-8162 or (family friendly). We are currently collecting health kit items in the Outreach Box in the Commons Area. (Health kits include hand towel, washcloth, comb, metal nail file, bath size soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and 6 adhesive bandages inside a 1-gallon plastic bag.)

- Sandwich Making - Contact David Miller: 320-2680 or (family friendly)

- Cards for Shut-ins - Contact Adair Whetstone: 290-9392 or (kid friendly)

- Cutting and sewing patterns of bibs, scarves, and hats for Shut-ins - Contact Donna Himes: 945-8349 or

- Coat Drive - Contact Bettie Jackson: 879-7201. We are currently collecting coats and sweaters (please, no other clothing items) of all sizes in the Outreach Bin in the Commons Area.

Outside Projects:
- Framing Walls for Habitat House - Contact Kirk Mills: 943-9234 or

- Landscaping at Firehouse Shelter - Contact Donna Burgess: 870-8124 or

- Painting at Firehouse Shelter - Contact Kirk Mills: 943-9234 or

- Building bunk beds at Urban Rush Center - Contact Larry Taylor: or 879-7920 (need two more adults to help with nail guns)

- Wall at House of Restoration - led by Billy Beers (volunteers fulfilled)

- Painting at House of Restoration - led by Thermon Jones and Agape Class

- Painting and cleaning gutters for Urban Ministries - Contact Dave Barnhart: 879-1737 or

- Tornado Relief Projects (planning on 2 or 3 teams depending on response) - Contact Kirk Mills: 943-9234 or
