A big thanks to Justin Davis for doing a great job with some live music and to Scott Ainsworth for slaving over the grills. And how about all the kids! To see more pictures, click here. April 13 - Young Adult Brunch Thanks to all the classes that made it down for the brunch (hhmmm-dis…hhmmm-covery). I think it was a huge success as we were able to gather and converse outside of our classrooms and fellowship as young adults. I know that some people were grateful for the opportunity to visit with members of our various classes without having to face the intimidation that sometimes comes with visiting a classroom. I hope we can continue to do more fellowship events during the Sunday School hour. Has your class thought about teaming up with another young adult class for a couple of weeks to bring in a guest speaker? April 20 - Baby Recognition Sunday Here a baby, there a baby, everywhere a baby-baby. What a visible sign it was for us to have even half of the total families that experienced new life in 2007 standing before the congregation. Thank you for being a part of such a great day. April 26 - Young Adult Mission Day Whether it was painting, scraping, or carpentry, we had a great opportunity to serve someone whose home is in serious need of repairs. We got to be the hands of Christ for Zeke! I hope that we can make this a more consistent part of our young adult ministry because it so often happens that, in giving of ourselves, we actually find ourselves.
