How to use RSS
If you are using a modern web browser, like Firefox 2, Safari 2 (for the Mac), or Internet Explorer 7 (for the PC), it is very easy to subscribe to any of the blogs and get up-to-date information right in your web browser. After you subscribe, you don’t even have to visit the website!
Any time you see an orange icon with the radio symbol on it, like this:
, it means that a feed is available. There are several feeds available on Trinity’s website.
1. Navigate to Trinity’s website: http://www.trinitybirmingham.com
2. As you navigate through the site, you will notice blog updates in the sidebar area. If you click the orange feed icon, your browser will give you an option to subscribe to the feed.
Most browsers treat feeds like normal bookmarks, except they will show you when there is new information available.
If you are using an older browser, you can still subscribe by signing up for a free account with iGoogle.com, my.Yahoo.com, or Bloglines.com - each has instructions on their website for subscribing to feeds.
